Some of the stupidest people in the world have brought us to where we are. Anyone who sees Donald Trump as "The Godfather," is stupid enough to eat both the gun and the canolis.

It's amazing that these people are still running around free, have not been indicted, and that millions of Republicans still think that Giuliani, Trump Jr., the Orange Prick himself, and so many others, should once again be in control of the Oval Office.

Is this some kind of sickness? Is it some kind of brainwashing? Or is it a horrible reality? -- Seems real enough to me.

So how do we stop them, their voters, and the Republican/Fascist Party.

What do we mean by California is the future when applied to politics? Modern California politics has an uncanny knack of prefiguring what happens in the rest of America in about a 15-year timeline. In other words, what happened in California 15 years ago should be studied closely to see how it will play out in America today. And what’s happening now in California will roll out over America in the next 15 years.

California experiences the future earlier than other parts of the country. Californians invent many new technologies, adopt them early and adapt new systems around them relatively quickly. They absorb waves of immigrants at the highest numbers in the country and accommodate them into their society quicker. The state is a magnet for young people, entrepreneurs, and people who want to change the world. Much of the population is unusually open to trying new things in the economy, society, and in politics.

And if we CAN NOT get a majority in both House and Senate and keep the Oval Office to undo the damage, we won't have time to deprogram them and they will wage another Civil War.

There are SO MANY MORE OF US THAN THEM. But with the gerrymandering and changing election laws so they can SELECT who they want if it turns out a DEM wins in some states, how will our votes even count? I don't know.


HOWEVER, what is funny is that they tend to let us win and watch us struggle to fix everything and then when we get things back to halfway livable they cheat and then blame us for the problems THEY caused and take credit for those problems being MAGICALLY fixed when they got elected.

SO I think we might have one more election cycle to get this back on track, but then we need to push campaign finance reform and get SCOTUS in balance and/or simply impeach and replace the people who lied in their conformation hearings about being impartial and not actively willing to overturn Roe V Wade.

America is on the precipice. Unless we can win more senate and house seats in this November's election, democracy is over. And, as I said in the OP, GOTV isn't enough.

Time for those in red states to find a way to end the fascism that is engulfing them. And time for us to support them, and also to find a way to block the insanity coming from the current Supreme Court.

All I can say is to repeat what I said in the OP. WE ARE THE MAJORITY.

The reality is that our "founding fathers" didn't give a shit about the majority. They cared about white landowners. On the other hand, we who live in the 21st century do give a shit about the majority. So are we going to allow a racist minority, and a minority appointed Supreme Court destroy America? It's really up to us if and what we're going to do about it.
