Actually, I don't know if it shows the entire record for everyone but it shows my entire record, which began in 2000. It doesn't show who we voted for but it shows the date and method of every vote for at least the past 22 years. All you have to know is the voter's first initial, last name, birthday and county. Thank goodness my record is perfect. Yikes!
On a side note, this might help in pressuring some of the people I know to vote this fall. You're either for women having control of their own bodies or you're not, and the proof will be there for everyone to see.

(34,500 posts)But I think it will be more embarrassing for someone to be exposed as a non-voter during these turbulent times. Especially if they are loud and overly opinionated.

(36,209 posts)The parties got updates as to who voted/didn't vote for GOTV. They had phone banks going.
Thing is--and they knew this--if a lot of (D) weren't highly motivated to vote for (D) candidates and were doing the "I voted (D) last time, but you know, I'm not sure this time" they didn't always get only (D) votes. Majority, most years. But if it was a year when wimpy centrist voters trended (R) while 2 year before they trended (D) ... they were GOTVing the lease unmotivated not motivated enough to vote on their own.

(4,877 posts)I ran for local planning board and got to hear from a lot of town's folks about various issues. Amazing the number of people who get worked up and have lots to say about things but don't vote. I tended to ignore them and certainly spent no time adjusting my stance on the issues because of their comments.
