I also sobbed at tfg's inauguration but they sure as hell weren't tears of joy.

(1,805 posts)I haven't felt good about it since he left. Trump has about destroyed everything, and I don't know if we will ever get it back. I'm 78, and I hope we will return to normalcy before I check out, but I'm not counting on it.

I always thought that he was the perfect husband and father. Oh yeah - he was a pretty good President, too. Once in a lifetime.

(1,898 posts)I actually had a dream the other night he was elected President again. I like President Biden, but like others in this thread before me, President Obama was the best in my lifetime, as Bush 41 was President when I was born.
