They were saying the shooter was one of the dead, but they’re backing away from that now.

Expect an update by 9 EDT or so. This happened just over the county line from Indy, in a somewhat smaller jurisduction. Indy police aren’t saying much because it’s not their territory.

EDIT: Just got a push notice; apparently a “good samaritan” killed the shooter, per an eyewitness. Nevertheless. We’re supposed to feel better when a person with a gun takes down another person with a gun in a public space? Fuck that.
