Concern About Abortion Fuels Push to Vote
July 31, 2022 at 6:13 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

“Concern about abortion access has exploded among Democratic voters as an election issue over the past month, a new USA Today/Suffolk University Poll finds, as the repercussions of the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade begin to reverberate.”

“Now, 64% of Democrats say the court’s action makes them more likely to vote in November, potentially a crucial factor in midterm elections that traditionally have low turnout. That’s more than double the 29% of Democrats who expressed that view in a USA Today/Suffolk survey taken after a draft of the landmark decision was leaked in June.”

and red states are trying keeping that information quiet. As a religion that is pro-life, RWers have failed miserably. Crime is high as well and people die in red states for the lack of health coverage.

Republicans are a party of death and suffering, lies, cheat, steal, and pure greed.

Here is some grassroots activism almost everyone can do:

People are carrying around pens and sticky notes and/or big mailing labels (things with adhesives that don't cause property damage when removed) and writing messages such as:

- Defend Choice — Defeat Republicans in the Midterms Nov. 8
- On Nov. 8 Vote Blue — or else the GOP will take your right to birth control too
-Vote Pro-Choice in Midterms Nov. 8
- Roe, Roe, Roe Your Vote — Midterms Nov. 8

You can include also include state-specific primary date voting info. if applicable (like for the NO vote in Kansas on the abortion question). In red states, people are including abortion access website links.

We're placing them in public restrooms, highway rest stops, transit stations, shopping malls — any high-visibility place. We'd love it if DUers would do the same and spread the idea far and wide on social media. Thank you!
