A great many veterans are hard-right Republicans! They vote for candidates who will not act in their interests. These people vote against their own needs! How can anyone be that obtuse and self-destructive?

Of course, there are lots of Republican voters who elect people who undercut their voters.

These voters are just stupid and there's nothing to be done about them.
