Why are Trump VOTERS not blamed for Trumpism?

Have you noticed, as I have, that whenever pundits go on and on about how election denying nutbag candidates have taken over the Republican Party that they stop there with the WHAT but they don’t do the hard work into delving into the more important WHY?

There could be no Trump, or Trump clones, or Trumpism if there wasn’t a market for it.
That should be what is examined.
Find out just What is so appealing about someone who is racist, anti woman, anti gay, anti semetic, anti Muslim…etc.
They love to be Just ANTI.
Anti everything that doesn’t look, sound, worship, and think like they do.

Here’s a story for you media folks.
It’s really THE story of our generation.
It’s the story of how the 1% with most of the money has turned their own souls and hearts into stone because of their massive greed for ALL of the money and ALL of the power.
But these extremely intelligent and politically savvy land barons know that they have to get some of the proletariat behind them (even if it’s only 30-40% of the populace) to have a little legitimacy in the eyes of the media to be able to pull off election fraud thru suppression and intimidation and, eventually, by changing all of the vote counting mechanism and procedures.

So, they go to the next biggest love in our nation besides money.
The search for the afterlife and the glorious eternity that many believe they will get if they just love the RIGHT people and hate the WRONG ones.
You know, things that Jesus taught.
So, they came up with this thing called the PROSPERITY GOSPEL that teaches (brainwashes) people that as Christians they should admire the super wealthy and aspire to be just as wealthy someday. They preach that GREED IS GOOD.
You know, Just like Jesus said.

So, now that their lower middle class (and generally lower educated) minions have bought into loving the 1%, these folks will gladly to the bidding of their overlords.
And, if there’s a byproduct that they can feel superior to the “overeducated liberal big city folks” who want to take the money from the overlords in “high” taxes and give it to the “lazy poor people (eg, blacks and browns) who “don’t want to work”, so much the better. Throw in some “let me keep ALL of my guns, no matter the type, make women have forced births no matter her circumstances, and scare up hatred for Adam & Steve down the block living together in sin”, and these minions will walk thru fire to vote for the authoritarian aristocracy that they hope will lead to a Gilead-like American White Christian Theocracy.

So, there’s your story, media.
That and a WARMING PLANET 🌎 that is on its way to destruction by the people on it.
Oh, yeah, there’s that minor thing.

So stop with covering just the show.
Yes, I know, it’s oh so exciting to show the outrageous.
But please stop Just covering the car wreck.
Please stop with elevating the con men with round the clock coverage.
Instead, we beseech you to Cover the unholy alliance of the aristocracy and their ultra religious right foot soldiers or soon we will all be living in Gilead.
Please help us keep our democracy because you know what authoritarians think about a free press. They don’t want one and they won’t have one.

Trump voters loved Trump because he would use the power of the state to go destroy their enemies (Democrats).

11. I don't think authoritarians have any problem with this press at all.

This press, it seems to me, works for the authoritarians; or, is owned by the authoritarians.

We have the Republicans behaving like 1930’s nazis, which the media won’t acknowledge, while they blast Joe Biden’s popularity hour after hour.

The big story is that Nazi’s are trying to take over our government and the media’s not all over it, in fact, not warning Americans. Instead, making it seem that it’s all business as normal, leading up to mid term elections which are just going to be “another close race between the two parties”, while not saying that one of those parties has, in fact, become a nazi party.

Rupert Murdoch had to get an American citizenship and move to America but that was it.
Once he did that, he could own tons of American media and turn them into right wing propaganda outlets just as he did in Great Britain and his Australian birthplace.

What is considered LEGITIMATE media must be changed.
Otherwise, with no safeguards of the public interest, it’s just all Goebbels like propaganda.

Besides what you have listed, there is also Sinclair broadcasting, a right wing source that has bought so many local American broadcast tv stations that has poisoned 🤮 local news.
This coming after Clear Channel Radio had bought up the entire AM radio spectrum and later much of the FM as well. This led to the emergence of not only Rush Limbaugh, but so many other Rush wannabe clones like Mark Levin on radio stations that preached right wing lies and propaganda 24 hours a day.
Over the road truck drivers, usually older white males with low education levels, listened all day long to how white Christian males were being abused and emasculated by liberals.
And now, Tucker Carlson preaches the same message nightly on Fox News.

Why does all of this matter?
Because the pen (or the microphone 🎤 is mightier than the sword.
Democratic Republics are not designed to withstand propaganda sources disguised 🥸 (or even not disguised) as legitimate news sources.
Once people doubt all of the the Fifth Estate, they then doubt their government, and then they will believe anything that a great con man or woman or “political party” sells them.
For years now, these groups have preached to their flocks that there is no bigger enemy that a Democrat.
They changed the name of our Democratic Party to the DemocRAT party (emphasis intentional).
They talked about how a college education was a bad thing because being “overly educated”
Would turn your children into latte drinking, tree hugging, Prius driving liberal elite socialists or communists. Or worst yet, a DemoncRAT.

Again, why does this matter?
Forgiving the Greens, Libertarians, Constitutional party types, but America is a two party system.
And a two party system can not survive when one of those parties has given up being a party and decided to become a personality cult, or WORSE, a group dedicated to destroy democracy and install an Authoritarian system owned and operated by the 1% that has bamboozled 30-40% of the nation into following them by using religion as a cudgel.
The wealthy and powerful (though not privately religious themselves) would be fine with ruling over a White Christian Nationalist type of Taliban Gilead Handmaids Tale looking country.

Can it be stopped?
Maybe, but Only by the Democratic Party.
They are our only hope. For right now (until we get at least 52 Dems in the Senate) that includes Manchin and Sinema.
So we must keep cajoling them and biting our tongue 👅 for now while cursing them behind their backs. We all hate, of course, that these two people have so much power.
But it is what it is FOR NOW.
Just imagine how great it would be if DC,PR, Guam, USVI, we’re all granted statehood.
That would, most likely, give us 8 more Dem Senate seats to help overcome some of the very lightly populated current states like Montana that are basically just rural “communities” as compared to places like NY and Cal. Yet, as we hang on to the antiquated electoral college, the people in those small (all RED) states proportionally have so much more power per capita than the large states.

So, thank you, my fellow “socialist/communist/DemoncRAT” comrades of mine.
May we keep tree hugging, and latte drinking and Prius driving while we phone bank, and canvass and beg and plead others to vote for the Democrats in ALL races in the midterms.
This includes all federal, state, and local elections which includes city councils and school boards which are held by way too many right wing nut jobs currently. You’ve undoubtedly seen them on tv reports screaming about CRT, grooming, trans people, etc.

Hell, vote for a Democratic dogcatcher if one is on a ballot.
As a dog 🐕 lover, I don’t want any dogs fate decided by a Republican.
Just an FYI, Trump has stated that he was never allowed to have a dog as a child.
He’s, therefore, afraid 😱 of them and doesn’t like them now.
And as my Grandma used to say, “son, you can tell an awful lot about a person by that that they treat the elderly, small children, and animals”.
