meaning people want abortion rights to be protected by the Kansas constitution. It's early results in one of the big counties.

(34,136 posts)I thought that we might make this but I never expected to see numbers like this. It is early but that is a big difference even this early. Holding my breath.

The rest of the state is brainwashed and "yes" will be ahead there.

(7,638 posts)a strong showing there is enough. Kornacki was saying the no needs to be at least +10 there in order to contain the yes from rural areas.

(2,864 posts)I hunted for weeks for a sign to put in my yard. I gave up trying to find an office. I figured I'd have to travel to KC or Topeka to get one. I was in no shape to drive that far. There could be a lot of people like me.
I'd like to blame Democrats for not having offices in every small town surrounding the larger cities, but after seeing the number of those democratic offices attacked in the larger cities, I'm hip to the fact they may not want to spend the money or take the chances at putting them in the smaller, more rural towns.
Still... take that for what it's worth when it comes to signage in the front yards. Republican offices are everywhere, even here. They're a dime a dozen even in this small town. And so are the YES signs. Still, we persevere.
