He also has a history of advocacy for progressive causes; in a June 26 Instagram post just days after the overturning of Roe v. Wade, he declared that he will "commit my law firm to fighting to restore a woman's right to choos which has been destroyed by the Supreme Court."

(22,048 posts)First, Trump has finally hired a really good lawyer. His cadre of idiots is long gone and Findling is not a BS artist.
Second, he's going to have to pay for this expertise and that's big bucks. Perhaps that's what he's been raising all that money for.
Third, Trump is finally taking his troubles seriously.
In the end, he's toast.

(10,130 posts)Of course, one often should heed the legal advice they're paying to get ... which Trump won't consistently do.
Aren't the GOP paying his legal fees until he announces he's running in 2024?
Right now, Trump is building his war chest - trying to cash in on this raid - sending batches of emails out to solicit $
And the GOP are currently paying for all his legal consequences.
No wonder Trump hasn't announced for 2024.- he's cashing in on his legal mess and sticking the legal tab with the GOP.
The legal trouble the Clintons went through in the 90s nearly bankrupted them. Trump is in more than ten times the legal trouble - on more fronts and with far more serious consequences - criminal and civil.
The pressure must be building within the GOP to cut their losses as it seems inevitable that Trump's behavior is about to catch up to him.
