I dont. That many boxes were missed the first time. Do you believe with someone as dishonest and greedy as Dump, the FBI found everything? I dont. That guy spends every waking hour scheming for more money.

(19,409 posts)And recovery doesn't matter that much for the ones we got back. They easily could have been photographed or copied. WHo knows how many copies are out there now?
Insane.

(95,196 posts)The FBI didn't raid his house on the assumption that he stole stuff. They raided because they had a specific inventory of Presidential documents logged at the White House that weren't transferred to the National Archives. That's why Archives knew in the first place that there were documents to reclaim.

(1,169 posts)Could there still be documents missing that we do not know are not in the NA?

(1,169 posts)That is why I say I did not know after June there were missing documents. I did not see the checked off list - also cause none of us did unless we have security clearance. That means we still have not seen the list. So, how do we know they have all of the papers now? I am not being sarcastic. (I know written word can come off in a way we dont mean, and I want you to know that in the following statement) Did the FBI announce they now have everything? Because I had a bad weekend and did not watch tv. If they did, that would make me feel better.

(95,196 posts)Just like they didn't announce what was missing when the first boxes were returned.

(95,196 posts)I propose to leave that matter to the DOJ.
If you intend to start with "Trump would..." you will always have something to worry about.

(2,910 posts)In this age of electronic media, once a document is out in the wild, it's unrecoverable. Granted, Trump might not be mentally agile enough to think of backup copies, but his handlers certainly are.
18 months of unsecured possession.

(95,196 posts)Seriously; Archives and DOJ know what was missing and what was recovered. What we think is irrelevant. Nobody share the list of missing items seized until it needed to be public.

(68,959 posts)they were all found. The Justice Department will know for sure.

(21,782 posts)As Im understanding it, the national archives has a list of documents they want back. tfg withheld documents
He stole them when he did not return them upon leaving and then refused to give them back.
If more are still missing, I expect well know soon.
