Do we have enough protection for potential targets around the country when we take the kumquat-colored conman into custody? His cadre of unhinged goons will go after any number of establishments with their racially motivated rage. Knowing that police organizations coast-to-coast have white nationalists in their ranks doesn't help matters. Personally, I say go Nike - Just do it. I don't think a redneck rebellion would last very long if there was a committed effort to put it down.

(4,274 posts)how they all scattered like rats when their fellow sedition comrade was shot on J6. They were all with her until then and then they ran and left their fallen comrade like a deadbeat leaves a bill. The main danger from people like this is the lone wolves or small groups plotting attacks.

Their pedigree and genes will quickly convert them into accepting the welfare state and that will make them instant winners.

(37,122 posts)It has been said that the January Sixth conservative treachery was a rehearsal. I agree. Corrections have been made. Calibrated. By the good guys. In short order trump will discover that those willing to die for him for no apparent reason (in the land of the free) will shrivel up faster then trump can file a bogus lawsuit.

(4,552 posts)It think it started with the Bundy gang not paying their rent. They still haven't paid the rent.
Ignoring them and other little boys did not work. Ignoring treason is a bad idea.
The treasonous clowns on 1/6 really did not think anything they did was wrong.
That is a failure of justice.
Just how I see it.

(6,017 posts)It's a movement among county Sheriffs started by Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, who was at the time on the board of Oath Keepers. The two groups maintain tight connections to this day, along with Proud Boys and even more extremist militia groups that those. The primary idea behind CSPOA is that they believe Sheriffs are the only valid source of law in America. Not legislatures, not judges, not voters. Sheriffs, and by extension in cities, local Police departments. And by further extension, all other peace officers.
CSPOA are the ones who made the news in 2020 for saying they wouldn't enforce COVID restrictions, they tend to get into fights with County or City boards of supervisors, and are typically as far right wing, white supremacist, American Christian Republican as someone can be. They were also the ones thrashing on BLM protesters. In short, they are Trump's Army and they are pretty much *everywhere*.

what happens if Trump is indicted or arrested? And, will he be indicted?
My answer shocked her.
I told her that he will be indicted, charges will be filed. Somewhere in the country there will be a mass-murder event. Maybe a militia attack of some sort, maybe a bombing of a government building reminiscent of Oklahoma City. Most likely, there will be more than one. They will use as justification the BLM movement and what they consider the lack of judicial response to it.
There will be violence, and I dont want the threat of it to deter the DOJ. The country needs to see just how dangerous this movement is.
Innocent people will die, but the response has to be severe. These Bass Pro Shop soldier wannabes need to see their domestic terrorist buddies put in body bags.
Sorry for the rant, but Im a veteran, the son and brother of other veterans who served to protect this country from those who would destroy it.

Instead they went total opposite and took up actual arms to defend THAT guys honor, not their sisters, DJT honor, who we don't see as having ANY honor.
That is where we are?
They are in death wish territory, but then again, they think we are the stupids.

(13,921 posts)theres a part of me that enjoys seeing the violent RW go up against the Violent RW. Both sides realizing how vicious the other really is, to their detriment.
But they are sure to drag plenty of innocents into the mess and cause harm, so thats not great.

(28,086 posts)when (thinking positively) the time comes I imagine it will be done very quietly.
I hope they don't give him the option of going to a courthouse and surrendering himself as that will give him time to rile the cult up. I would hope they just arrive at whatever golf course he's staying at without warning and very politely read him his rights and ask him to come along quietly. Hopefully they'll grab his phone as soon as he tries to tweet he's being arrested.

(1,604 posts)I hope this is part of their plan. In addition, I hope they are ready to pounce on any incitement, be it from Sloppy Steve Bannon or any MAGA mercenaries taking a break from trading their pedo-porn.

(44 posts)I don't think he'll ever be arrested. As much as I'd love to see it, I think they'll just pat him on the rump and let him go on his merry way after making sure he doesn't ever get to run for office again.
