1. Covers aren’t classified, contents are.
2. Common to document searches with photos for multiple reasons including chain of custody.

Fox News host Mark Levin is arguing that the FBI was “grossly negligent” with its photo of documents the agency recovered during a search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August.

Levin weighed in on the issue he saw with the photo, which was part of the Justice Department filing on Tuesday. The photo depicts — and covers information on — materials that include labels of “secret” and “top secret.”

Trump claimed on his social media platform Truth Social on Wednesday that the FBI “haphazardly” threw the documents on the floor and perhaps pretended the former president threw them on the ground.

But the picture of the documents placed on the floor “appears to be in keeping with standard” federal protocols for when officials document and collect materials in a search, The New York Times reported.

That information didn’t get to Levin, however, who tweeted that “spreading” documents identified as classified on the floor and taking a picture “is a grossly negligent use” of the documents.

If you notice, all of the contents of the documents without cover pages are blanked out. The cover pages themselves are unclassified, and serve as evidence of what was found.

While not a surprise, this picture is an absolute indictment of this orange treasonweasel, and anyone who supports him.

They've merely taken a photo as contemporaneous documentation of the items located. This is a national security sensitive criminal investigation which would be focused on not disseminating classified information. I guarantee there are also photos of the documents without the paper blocking the restricted contents.

For example, 90% of "lawyers" in DC don't actually practice law.

In 1980, Levin earned a J.D. from Temple University School of Law.

Levin worked for Texas Instruments after law school. Beginning in 1981, Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan. Levin began at ACTION, the federal agency that oversaw VISTA and other volunteer agencies, before serving as deputy assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education at the U.S. Department of Education and deputy solicitor of the U.S. Department of the Interior. He ultimately became chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese.

After leaving the Reagan administration, Levin practiced law in the private sector. In 1991, Levin joined public interest law firm Landmark Legal Foundation. At Landmark, Levin served as director of legal policy and the foundation's Washington-based Center for Civil Rights before becoming president in 1997. Under Levin's presidency, Landmark Legal filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission in 2000 alleging that the National Education Association, the largest teachers' union in the U.S., did not disclose spending on political activity in Internal Revenue Service documentation. Landmark Legal also filed similar complaints with the United States Department of Labor in 2002 regarding NEA and political activity; by 2006, the NEA and smaller American Federation of Teachers had filed new documents with the Labor Department revealing over $100 million combined in political action spending.

I believe that the cult members are finally realizing that their messiah is going to be brought up on charges. I do believe they’ll stick by traitor Trump to the very end. This country came really close to a dictatorship.
