LINKING is still the answer to me. Linking GOP policies to deficits, inflation, crime, decaying cities, lawlessness, and fascism is the message I want to hear. No more cumbaya. Don't take the "extreme left" jabs without reminding voters that there is even a difference in extremes. One extreme wants to do much more FOR people while the other extreme want to do much more AGAINT people. One extreme wants to spend more on education the other extreme wants to demonize educators. One extreme wants to reform law enforcement and the other extreme wants to exterminate them. One extreme wants to defend democracy the other extreme wants to demolish democracy. One extreme wants fair taxes for all the other extreme wants no taxes or lower taxes for the wealthy. One extreme wants women to have control over her body and health decisions. The other extreme wants to control a woman's body and health decisions. One extreme embraces all of humanity regardless of race, religion, or sexuality. The other extreme wants to simply eliminate people who are not like them. There are many more differences and they are stark.

(10,252 posts)I don't think all the things listed above as extreme left are extreme. I think they are sensible, common-sense and immensely popular to make our lives better.

(15,378 posts)Take the recent floods in Mississippi and the devastating tornados in Kentucky.
The message could be this:
Not ONE SINGLE Democratic Congressperson, not ONE SINGLE Democratic Senator, not ONE SINGLE Biden Cabinet Member, not ONE SINGLE Democratic President, or ONE SINGLE Democratic Vice President would VOTE AGAINST, or ADVOCATE AGAINST disaster relief for the people of Kentucky and Mississippi.
NOT ONE!!!!!
Not AOC. NOT Ilhan Omar. Not one member derisively smeared as "the Squad". Not Joe Manchin. Not Kristine Cinema. Not Bernie Sanders.
NOT ONE SINGLE Democrat would vote to not help the people of Kentucky and Mississippi. NOT ONE!!!!
No Democrat is going to dismissively joke that we should "send them rakes and mops".
Retrumplican MAGAs have made an Army out of their cheering and adoring fans, laughing and applauding as they vote against Californians devastated by wildfires and New Yorkers devastated by massive floods.
MAGAs practice the politics of cruelty and revenge, and they don't give a damn whether IT'S THEIR OWN VOTERS THAT HAVE BEEN DEVASTATED.
No Democrats asked "who did the people of Kentucky and Mississippi vote for"? before agreeing to send them help.
