Ignoring Trump's vile and outrageous nonsense is a natural self-protection mechanism. It hurts our
minds and souls to allow it into our thoughts. And yet we must.
We cannot let him occupy that part of the political spectrum we have always labelled "Republican" or "conservative". He is so much worse than that. He is a fascistic dictator wannabe who is capable of cheerfully killing as many of us as he deems necessary to gain and preserve absolute unfettered power.
Donald Trump and those who enthusiastically aid him are monsters. We need to stay alarmed and angry about their ongoing agenda to destroy our democracy and nation.
Paying attention may be painful, but do it, OK?
