We know he's a snake and after his dismissal of the Mueller investigation, I want the man behind bars. For something, Gdammit.

However, he is most useful prying away, chip by chip, the hardened veneer of the right wing which has attached itself to Trump. The base is already too far gone to be deprogrammed, but there's enough old-school conservatives out there that are listening to Barr and beginning to detach. That won't mean they'll vote for a Dem in 2024 if Trump runs, but it may keep them at home on election day.
