(6,089 posts)bending over backwards to please his new overlords, whatever integrity he ever had is being squandered on bullshit attacks. So glad I turned off CNN a while back.

(3,111 posts)Sickening to see their hard veer to the dark side... and for WHAT? Ratings? When we have no country left because of THEIR negligence, maybe they're just jockeying for first consideration to be official "state-run" teevee?? You know, like in Russia?
NO. THANK. YOU.

(92,190 posts)made it clear where his bias is, especially in his misrepresentation of what Biden said regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal
This went far beyond just being critical against the withdrawal problem, this was an over the top tirade by tapper against Biden

(14,966 posts)Seeing him use those characteristics in support of US soldiers who have been misused in wars of choice and neglected upon return home was fine. He was annoying but he had a valid point.
Using them to earn brownie points with the new CNN boss to keep his job is just pathetic.

(21,568 posts)Tapper seemed like a decent enough guy. Called out drumpf bullshit on a daily bases for years. and the second his new boss tells him to move to the right, he just moves to the right, with no regard for integrity or ethics of journalism.
it isn't our fault that facts and truth hove a left win bias

(6,689 posts)The entire trumpy scam is coming unraveled in real time as we watch. Trying to be like faux for ratings seems like a real bad business model. Have fun with your reputations.

(8,699 posts)The clear impression, from HBOmax To CNN, is that new WB- Discovery CEO Zaslav is swinging the new company in an unequivocal hard right direction. If I read it right all 70 senior management firings were exclusively people of color and LGBTQ.
Batwoman was cancelled, without warning or valid reasoning. Word was Zaslav intends to cancel or any completely rewrite shows in which the main character is a person of color or LGBTQ in order to attract more older white and conservative viewers.
Word is that the demographics of Discovery+ is older, white and conservative and Zaslav wants to align all the other sectors with Discovery+ demographics.
Given that the newly merged company is bleeding viewers and money, over $20 billion in loses so far, it doesn't seem like that is a winning strategy.
