until Thursday and now the chief says they have to review their policies to determine how this incident escaped their attention even though they'd been informed of it.

Ya think?

And of course the school district allowed him to resign because pensions re sacred for child abusers.

Did I detect a slight contradiction here?

If they were informed of it, then it didn't escape their attention. By their own definition, they ignored it until they were forced to cease ignoring it--something they obviously did not do voluntarily.

BS that they are calling it a shove. That was assaulting a minor. Lucky the boy was not seriously injured (assuming he wasn't). That should be jail time.

Those who don't learn that, just don't last!

Viable alternatives would have been to make some sort of scathing remark to the kid, or just turn around and walk away.

Wondering myself what the kid did or said, really.

Oh, yes - the second thing you learn is . . . NO PHYSICAL CONTACT!
