I understand she wanted to move on, but the country has NEVER had a press secretary as sharp, personable, and well-prepared as she was, and she NEVER lost her cool, and the Foxsucker contingent NEVER tripped her up once.

If ever there was a worthy successor of Rachel Maddow, Psaki is it, although giving her MTP--if it stays in its current form--would be a blessing as well. I would prefer that "Meet The Press" return to its pre-Russert days of being exactly what its title implies, with a revolving group of three journalists chosen for their familiarity with the guest's area of work, asking pertinent questions. In other words, meet the real press, not some host chosen to make the show about himself with the occasional sitting president to spice up viewer interest.
