So not only would the rapist get visitation, but they leave their victim on the hook
financially and still have access to the kid without any penalties. Then, to make matters
even worse, everything demands court action, and time away from work or parenting.
There would be further battles over supervised visitations and who would supervise.
This is going to be decades of shit.

Most courts don't put deadbeats in jail, so there is really no penalty for not at least providing money.

Who is the hypothetical person? The woman that was raped? The child?

And what do you mean by rescue? That the unwanted rapist is somehow rescuing the situation?

Edit: This is about a court deciding that the rapist gets shared custody, even if the woman understandably would never want to deal with him. It's not about a woman and child desperate for help to support them.

I have been tutoring English, math or computer science since Feb 1980.
