Things bog down there in the winter. Ask Napoleon and the Nazis.

They are going to pound the Russians with long range stuff. In the meantime the troops get a rest. Rotating is really key to a sustained effort.

The war is essentially over Concern has to be salvaging troops and equipment on their withdrawal back to Russia. Question is now many troops and equipment can be salvaged before the weather complicates the retreat.

and support from months ago fulfilled their promises?

I'd like to see a chart which shows the various countries who supported Ukraine verbally months ago and who has actually provided real supplies and support.
