Has our justice system been played?

At this point long term stalling is all he's got and he's pulling it off. Over the years I kept/keep hearing he/they're not smart enough to do this or that and then yet more and more stall tactics are enabled. His crimes from years ago have all but been forgotten it seems to me, stalling has been affective. I think he's mafia type savvy, his only smarts. His strong arm tactics have always worked for him before. I can't imagine they would work here, but here we are, stalled again. Imo the DOJ should have just indicted him earlier. Now look where we are. We really REALLY need the House.

DOJ just filed its appeal on Cannon’s ruling; if things unfold on a timeline similar to Trump’s EP claims last year, he has bought himself maybe 4 months at most.

In the meantime, 40 new Grand Jury subpoenas were just issued, and dozens of Trump crimes are still being investigated, and ultimately, prosecuted.

It took three years to put AG Mitchell in jail for simple conspiracy and obstruction charges, and nearly as long to put Joshua Schulte in prison for espionage, and neither of them were former presidents.

I prefer lengthy investigations that result in convictions rather than speedy indictments that result in dismissals or acquittals.
