Department of Justice raises doubts about sharing classified information with Trump's attorneys

Part of the order from Cannon is that TFG's attorneys must be given access to all of the documents being examined by the Special Master including the top secret documents. The DOJ pointed out that at least one of TFG's attorneys will be a witness in any trial and it now appears that the attorney who TFG paid a $3 million retainer is a registered foreign agent for Venezuela and the Maduro regime

The Justice Department’s filing Friday at the 11th Circuit makes clear that prosecutors continue to object strongly to any role for a special master in connection with potentially classified documents. In addition, prosecutors suggest that a portion of one of Cannon’s orders directing that Trump’s lawyers be provided with copies of all the seized records is another improper intrusion on the Justice Department’s prerogatives.

“Yet the district court here ordered disclosure of highly sensitive material to a special master and to Plaintiff’s counsel—potentially including witnesses to relevant events—in the midst of an investigation, where no charges have been brought,” prosecutors wrote.

Prosecutors did not elaborate on the reference to “witnesses,” but one attorney involved in Trump’s drive to limit prosecutors’ access to the records, Evan Corcoran, was also involved in preparing an affidavit submitted to DOJ in June claiming that all the documents marked classified had been turned over to the government. Prosecutors say that was not true.

This will be a fun appeal to watch. Cannon's order if allowed to take effect put our country at risk

SCI information should never leave locked rooms with audit trails.

The mere fact that it left such rooms is a crime by all involved in its removal.

Handing it out to political hack no-conscience lawyers and others, including judges, with absolutely no need to know the secrets within is BEYOND THE PALE.

Aerospace engineers have to wait years to get cleared, and that includes history, gaps in employment, shady friends and colleagues, foreign visits, indebtedness, lifestyle, drinking and drug habits, you name it. They canvass your neighbors to get the dirt, if any.

I wouldn't trust these hacks to wash my windshield.
