Medical debt is leaving many in the U.S. unable to afford groceries or pay their mortgages -- even

among the insured, according to new research:

Paul Rosenberg

The US lack of social democracy profoundly harms millioons of Americans.
But the harm isn't just individual. Our whole economy suffers from the lost productivity of so many. If there were any sane Republicans left, even they would recognize this & support dramatic change.

instead of retiring like most people at 65. That’s what I get for having a younger family.

I fully expect the insane way this country pays for healthcare, will eventually drain all our resources and I will finish up on Medicaid in another dozen years with all my assets gone. It’s the way the system is designed.

In America is to stay healthy. Number one tool to stay healthy is 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise every week. This becomes critical after Age 50.

We’re paying for his Cobra too.

I hope the fucking Republicans that won’t vote for affordable insulin rot in hell.

I paid an arm and a leg for Obamacare, but it seems to have covered more stuff. Because I went on Medicare midyear, I have to hit all the deductibles that will restart in January. And yes, I have a supplemental policy. I think I just need to get used to it. And I'm waiting for the 2,000 max on drugs to kick in, can't remember how many years I have to wait for that.

to have the Republican health care system.

I don't get sick.

In reality, I am truly very healthy, lucky me. I am also on Medicare with an Advantage system, and despite the constant trashing of them here, they are very good.

I think if I were granted three wishes, one of them would be that everyone else be at least as healthy as I am. So, okay, lots of doctors and hospitals would go out of business, but imagine the benefits of being this healthy?
