Does he realize he's in the 21st century? No remorse. He thinks it's a joke. Jeebus help us if we elect people like this.
The letter, circulated by Democratic governor candidate Josh Shapiros campaign, says, Mastrianos garb was offensive, given that confederate states rebelled over state's rights to own slaves.
WGAL asked Mastriano about the letter, and he dismissed it, referencing how Southern Democrats once supported slavery around the time of the Civil War.
The one day I decide to dress as a Democrat, I get criticized, Mastriano said.
Shapiro has called the photo offensive.
