Now they cannot indict him because he is a former President.
He should have been indicted when he was President.
But, it would be a precedent if he were to be indicted now.
Now, he is a private citizen. He has no formal title. "Former President" only means that he was once the "President".
There can be no special favors for any private citizen, if he breaks the law.

They waited and continued to work.
That fluke win was the worst thing that ever happened to him.

(552 posts)was a bullshit rule the republican controlled justice department made up to cover up crimes committed by Reagan. And the Bush pardoned all of the convicted felons and people under investigation from the administration.
