In my time, it was a transit stop over for troops transiting Korea to support exercises...in my time it was Team Spirit.

Hialeah supported the port of Pusan (now Busan). So if he was a cargo handler, it makes sense because Kimhae Airbase was nearby. Classified mission...highly doubt it.
