I have a different idea. How about instead of weighing Biden's real track-record against hypothetical republican promises, how about weighing Biden's real track-record against the real republican track-record?

Obviously, the Republicans want to compare facts with promises. They are like the compulsive gambler who arrives at a casino, asking people what they’ve won, and then declaring his intention to win $10 million, expecting people to be impressed. He expects this even though he’s been there a hundred times before and never won a dime.

The Republicans are just like that compulsive gambler, asking the people of this country to lend them a ton of money based on the expected winnings. Would any banker in their right mind loan Rudy Giuliani or Newt Gingrich $10 million so they could buy a McMansion in Great Falls, based on their expected one night’s casino winnings? That is what the Republicans are asking America to do.
