New video just in from Fort Myers, FL shows swimmers getting into the storm surge as Hurricane #Ian approaches.
This is EXTREMELY dangerous. I cant believe I have to say this . DO NOT GET INTO THE WATER!

(4,676 posts)many years still often took my sarcasm literally. Were major hiking buddies now, logging at least 30 miles/week, and after all that one-on-one mileage she has finally realized when I say something absurd that its because my tongue got stuck in my cheek.

(16,829 posts)He lived in Tampa, I was in the midwest. When a hurricane was coming I was so afraid for him. Then he told me he was going down to Clearwater Beach to feel the wind on his face.
He's still alive, AFAIK.
