The rich have taken almost all the wealth for themselves and so people fall for bullshit isms rather than point thier finger at the real cause of thier misery greedy billionairs and hedge fund managers and ceo's taking away thier money and taking away the potential of what this country could be if wealth inequality was limited by taxing the richest the most and enforcing anti trust laws. A new upstart nowadays can not compete against mega corporations who rig laws in thier own favor.
