A friend just told me he had Covid for 15 days and it was bad.

Two sons and his wife had it as well. His daughter did not. Scared him. Felt like an elephant sitting on his chest.

All fully vaccinated and had boosters.

300 kids at his son's school had it too.

Santa Rosa, CA.

That fucker trump is still not dealt with. Over a million dead and he is to blame for 90% at least.

Oct 2022

All vaxxed, masked etc.

Kicked me hard, bed ridden for a day and should have been for the next couple but I have a farm so....

I gave it to my husband who was not too bad and my oldest son who had it pretty bad.

I was told to stop testing, it could be positive for a while as I shed the rest of the virus. When my symptoms are all gone I can consider it done.

I have never coughed so hard or so much. My rib cage and abdomen hurt for days after I stopped coughing. On the way up now but it is slow.

Monoclonal antibodies and Evoshield aren’t effective with the scrabble variants, but Plaxovid is.

Why respond at all about antibody treatments when the person asked about antivirals?

I wondered what happened with the nasal vac. My brother said right away said it was going to be better because it acts in your nose and seems to be the area that most people start incubating the virus. so sick of this crap.

There are some being tested in 'real life' right now. Hopefully they will be more effective than the shots.

and was pretty sick but am better now save for the parosmia and some residual fatigue.

Save for that, it was like a bad flu. I was triple vaxxed. Had the 4th vax just last week and because I'm still suffering from Covid aftermath I got sick again - blech.

I feel like we're just going to have to live with this and take some precautions - I always mask up in crowds, public transpo, etc.

vaccinated...there had just been a new booster released which I didn't have yet. I went to the wedding on June 18th...I was sick a few days later. It seemed to be a mild case. I hosted the kids for the fourth of July...and I was feeling very tired but not sick. I figured Covid makes you tired. a couple of days later. I woke up and was throwing up and had excruciating pain in my left side. I

t was a Friday...I refused to go to the ER until my husband called my daughter and she made me...figured I had a virus. When I arrived, I had blood clots in my stomach and my kidney which is why I had pain on the left side. The blood could not flow through the kidney. I had Covid pneumonia and A-Fib...while I was there I had a heart attack. It was mild thank God...it was caused by the A-fib and a clot that broke away. I was lucky not to have died. I spent 8 days in the hospital and have had extensive followup. I am still short of breath and my O2 level can dip into the 80s. I am hoping some of this goes away by the next year. Sometimes with Covid, it does but who knows? So if you have Covid be careful after you think you are better, it is not uncommon for the worst symptoms to appear later: 5-14 days later. Stay safe.

He was immunocompromised but also a Trumper. I don't know his vaxx status. I remember being in his store and gently scolding him for wearing his mask under his chin. I said, "We want you to be around a long time." He said, "But I get out of breath with this thing on." He was a sweet man. Good hearted. A small business owner, and around here they tend to be conservative.
