I wonder if the guy who attacked and was going to try to permanently disable

a famous woman and tried to kill her husband, ever imagined what his life would be like in prison forever.
I guess he doesn't have a clue. If he did, maybe he would have not attacked Mr. Pelosi. Perhaps, not
but he will find out soon enough. And it will be forever, when the trial is over.

He was in a rage and probably felt he was a soldier for “the cause”. I see that Charlie Kirk is asking someone (not him) in the Bay area to bail out Depape. Maybe Depape had Rittenhouse in his mind.

disable the Speaker of The House of Representatives, his only thought was getting it done for his own
sick gratification. He won't find it pleasant in state prison. Yes, "State Prison." He hasn't got a single
clue at all.

& b/c DePape mentioned assaulting the Speaker herself, won't he go to a Fed prison?
San Quentin State Prison is a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation state prison for men, located north of San Francisco in the unincorporated place of San Quentin in Marin County. Opened in July 1852, San Quentin is the oldest prison in California. Wikipedia

Wherever he ends up, if convicted, it won't be good.

My husband used to work in Marin County. It is truly bizarre to drive over the Richmond San Rafael bridge, past a large collection of buildings with a spectacular view of San Francisco and the Bay - and know that it's a maximum security prison. Wouldn't developers love to get their hands on that land!

to some deserving right-wing asshole in prison. For my part, I just want him, and them, to spend the rest of their lives knowing whatever it was they did that got them there wasn't worth it. I don't want him taking victory laps in the exercise yard. I don't want him pumping his fist and saying "F**k yeah! Totally whacked Nancy's husband!"

I want every single day of the rest of his life, and theirs, to be consumed with regret, and the knowledge that if they hadn't done this one thing, they'd be free as air.

And if they have “cover” from “friendly” posts on the internet, that’ll somehow immunize them or get them out of trouble???

SHEESH!!!

Beats the hell outta me what makes these jerks tick. I can think of dozens of GOP big shots I hate like hell, but no way am I EVER gonna ACT on that!!! The worst I can ever think to do would be to stand on some street corner with a protest sign.

AND VOTE, of course.

He is imagining that he will have the same fate. "Get Away With It" .............

But he will have a surprise when convicted and spends the rest of his life in a small closet.
But he will learn about the "consequences." after he pleads guilty.
