Besides why does the government get to administer the program ? It should be privatized and let Wall Street, the huge banks, and investment funds administer the Social Security program. Then they can take a big annual fee for administering the investment funds portfolio.

What could possibly go wrong ? Besides if the privatized fund goes bankrupt due to high risk investments - a government bailout will save the day.
