I live in a very liberal area just outside Boulder Colorado. I spent time talking to people in the neighborhood to see if they needed help dropping off their ballots or getting information on those running or propositions. 13 of the 16 total, who very much were upset over dobbs, have now voted
Blue The others I know are also voting Blue, though their main concern is fascism taking over.
I recognize I live in a sane place

I went back to phone banking, then got hung up on twice!
I'll try phone banking again tomorrow night.

Phone banking is safer. I'm not as likely to be arrested or sued!

People living in housing developments, including the wealthy ones, not so much.

(15,813 posts)Happily, we're in the middle of brand new CD8, so that brings plenty of excitement. My participation has been limited by health issues, but other Weld Dems have been going at it pretty much 24-7; I do miss being there with them! Anyway, Caraveo is our choice for House against former Weld pro-cecession commish Kirkmeyer.
Condolences to those who still reside in CD4, where Ken Buck is proof that republicans will elect even a desiccated cowpie if it has an R next to its name.
