I do not claim that I can tell the future. Vut I will speculate the next 48 to 72 hours may involve some anxiety and stress for many good people. In discussing this with a friend here, and a group of friends on facebook, I thought of this quote by my old friend Oren. It has led to some interesting discussions over the last day through now.

Every individual who reads it will, of course, interpret it based upon their own level of understanding and being. And that is okay. Even generally good.

1. I'm having to limit my horserace "news" exposure.

While also, of course, voting, and I text banked this morning.

On one hand, it will be what it will be. That is, in the sense that we will just have to pick ourselves up and keep moving forward, fight the good fight, knowing that we have the discretion to discern right from wrong, truth from lies.

I am expecting heartbreak on Tuesday night, as well as joy and relief.

You have done what you needed to do. I have, as well. No matter what the outcome, we will have a struggle on our hands.

I do find it troubling that one of the two major political parties is running Herschel Walker for the U. S. Senate. Not that they don't have a low quality group already in place. It is the progression that Newt Gingrich started with his "contract with America," to destroy the House and then Senate.They have some unstable people in the House, for sure.

My only real question at this moment is will their party run Donald Trump or Kanye West in 2024?

I keep thinking (hoping) there will be a bottom.. at some point people will come to their senses. There is a history of this.

Right now, I don't have a lot of confidence in 'Murkans to turn this around any time soon.

I attended a historical society presentation today. There were a lot of people there that I knew, with a range of political views. But in discussions, everyone agreed that things were going out of control.

is just a bunch of spoiled babies!

I listened to a great podcast about this recently..about cold plunge therapy. The speaker tied it to the fact that in much of the developed West we have access to ultimate comfort in a way that is not truly good for us.

the overall election results will favor us, and likely surprise those who are nervous about it today.

I'm not one to be concerned about most polls, either. I was called by a person polling on the local race for a seat in the House. After some initial questions, I was asked about exposure to media and/or web sites. Did I ever take part in discussions? I said I had done a series of interviews with Dr. Bandy Lee in 2020. The person told me that she needed to end our conversation and hung up.
