Until their kids or brothers are sent off to some staged war by some lunatic (and Supreme Court-installed) GOP president.

Had black, gay, male friend who just couldn't bring himself to vote for hrc, for bunch of nebulous reasons, so he voted third party, rationalizing that disastrous t* pres, would bring country around to "progressive sanity." Well guess who, after one yr into t* pres, became an expat. Hrc, one of the most qualified ppl to ever run for president

their voters to be encouraged by the overturning of Roe and therefore to turn out to vote for candidates who would pass a federal law banning it everywhere.

Instead, it's possible that they got complacent about voting since Roe was overturned.

They also did not realize how many conservative women support abortion and are willing to vote to preserve it, although they would never publicly admit to it to pollsters.

They thought that they would ride a momentum wave to victory after delivering the decision that anti abortionists have wanted for so long.

"It is not good enough for someone to say, 'I'm a woman vote for me!'" and something about having "the guts to stand up to the oligarchy" and revolution.

Who sneer at "identity politics" is:

"Be quiet, women and minorities, while we decide what matters to you, because we know what's best for you, better than any of you do."

Because that's exactly what they're saying.
