Trumps reality show, con game, mirage, is coming apart at the seams. He is losing in every way imaginable. He is losing on the political front, the financial front and the criminal front. That is a bad fucking combination.
Trump lost the protection of the presidency. he lost the protection of a corrupt AG. He is now losing the protection of the Republicans in congress, who protected Trump out of fear of losing their jobs. They now fear losing their jobs because of Trump. They have tough decisions to make.
Trump still has the hardcore, delusional MAGA votes supporting him, but that number is shrinking everyday.
All the investigations are closing in on Trump. They are not slowing down, they are moving forward. When indictments start raining down those investigation will become front and center in the news media. This will happen as Trump and Desantis the Dork start running against each other.
Stay tuned, it is going to be historic. Fuck Trump.

(13,608 posts)take everyone he can down with him. That means letting him have his way or giving him a shit ton of money.
There are some right-wing billionaires who could probably do that easy but if it's not enough, he'll make more threats and demand more.
He must have some kind of problem with one of the kids. Did you see what he said at his rally about it being okay if you don't like your kid and don't leave him the farm? That sounded like a message to me.

(12,597 posts)sheep and then the MAGA will slowly but surely turn to the new person. Trump will be just a fond memory (to them) and the new person will be all the talking point, praise, etc.

(12,180 posts)Kayleigh McEnany, former White House Press Secretary under the Trump administration, has a clear warning for former President Donald Trump.
According to McEnany, now a Fox News television personality, the former president should hold off on announcing his 2024 presidential bid.
As midterm elections come to a close, Trump has danced around the possibility of a major announcement being shared on Nov. 15. However, Trump's remarks came prior to the Republican Party's overall midterm election performance, which is a bit worse than anticipated.

(11,435 posts)(snip) Lanterne is a French word designating a lantern or lamp post. The word, or the slogan "À la lanterne!" (in English: To the Lamp Post!) gained special meaning and status in Paris and France during the early phase of the French Revolution.
(snip) Journalist Camille Desmoulins, who had earlier practiced law, designated himself "The Lantern Attorney." He wrote a pamphlet entitled (in translation) "The Lamp Post Speaks to Parisians," in which "la lantèrne" tells the people, "I've always been here. You could have been using me all along!".

Who will show?
How many will show?
When and where?
Who, if anyone, will be the opening act?
Any predictions?

(10,252 posts)Some already have. They will hem and haw. Change the subject. Pretend they don't know or keep up with the latest news stories. Pretend to be talking on a cell phone. Then it will be "We need new younger folks." Once Trump gets indicted, it will be, "I won't comment on any investigations or court cases." He won't be invited to campaign for candidates, and candidates will "regrettably" be unable to attend his rallies due to prior commitments.
Once he gets indicted, hopefully in several jurisdictions at the same time, he will be in full pariah.
Karma is a real thing. Actions have consequences, maybe not within the time frame that we desire, but they are certain.
