2 teens facing charges in connection to deadly shooting at Ingraham High School (Seattle)

KOMO Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. — Two teenagers are facing charges in connection to the deadly shooting of a student inside Ingraham High School in north Seattle Tuesday morning.

The juveniles had their first court appearances Wednesday afternoon at the Child and Family Justice Center in Seattle. One of the suspects waived their right to appear in court.

KOMO News is not naming the suspects at this time because they are juveniles.

One of the suspects is 14 years old, and the other is 15. The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office argued both teens should be held in custody. The judge agreed, and both are being held in detention.

A judge found probable cause to charge the 14-year-old with first-degree murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a dangerous weapon at a school facility.
