'No one showed up': Here's how Donald Trump's attempt to get MAGA into the streets fizzled

Donald Trump's efforts to get his supporters into the streets of Detroit on election day was dissected by The Washington Post on Wednesday.

At 2:28 p.m. eastern, Trump took to his Truth Social microblogging website to complain about voting in Michigan.

"The absentee ballot situation in Detroit is really bad," Trump posted. "People are showing up to vote only to be told, 'sorry, you have already voted.' This is happening in large numbers, elsewhere as well. Protest, Protest, Protest!"

Trump's call was not answered by his MAGA base.

"Unlike in 2020, when similar cries from the then-president drew thousands of supporters into the streets — including to a tabulating facility in Detroit and later to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 — this time, no one showed up," the newspaper reported. "After two years of promises from Trump and his supporters that they would flood polls and counting stations with partisan watchers to spot alleged fraud, after unprecedented threats lodged against election workers, after calls to ditch machines in favor of hand counting and after postings on internet chat groups called for violent action to stop supposed cheating, a peaceful Election Day drew high turnout and only scattered reports of problems."

I have a cousin in Ohio says her husband won't take her to a restaurant in Columbus that I recommended though she would really like to try it. I asked why not. She said well he just thinks there "are too many people in Columbus". I stopped for a moment and then thought. Oh, ok.
He's a Magat.
Hell no they aren't going into Columbus or Detroit. Too many people there.

Hopefully they'll realize - for once and for all - that the days of a White overclass are finished.
It's easier, and a hell of a lot stressful, if you just get along with each other. The color of a person's skin means nothing, because basically we're all just human beings.

There will always be outliers, but if the vast majority of people would finally get beyond skin color, the world would be a far better place on which to live.

I always ask what was on their birth application that made them “special”

I usually get a confused look, so I explain that no one gets to choose how they are born … into what race, religion or money …

It’s a game of chance and whatever privilege they think they have, they should be grateful and a lot more excepting

If that doesn’t shut them up, I just tell them to forever stay away from me, because they are unacceptable

.. and yes, I am old and out of fucks

Eta …

I am 17 with wrinkles and can still walk, talk, and chew bubble gum simultaneously.

Ha ha heh. A sign that people are not listening to djt anymore, and his time has come to leave the 'room'. Idiot won't or can't read a room, so he'll hang on, but I suspect that things from here on out are going to get even worse for him.

It'd be a good time to start raining down those so-called indictments, eh?
