We hold the Senate and White House, we need someone who can work the the Pubs to at least get critical things like the budget passed. (yes, I just gagged a little)

Yes, who knew it actually takes work and effort and learning and experience to ascend to a position as important and crucial as Minority Leader (or potential Speaker)? You mean a member whining on Twitter about how we need a new generation of leaders isn't qualifications enough?

There's not.

Nor is it surprising that the next generation of leaders will be those that have put in the time and effort to learn from our current generation of leaders rather than just whining about them on social media.

I'm so bummed Tim Ryan wasn't re-elected. He would be Terrific!

I know the Speaker does not have to be a member of Congress. Is this a pipe dream? (probably). He has the Gumption needed. He appeals to moderates as well as progressives (in my humble opinion)
