When is MSM going to explain why the (D)'s lost the House? ...

The illegal gerrymandered maps from AL, GA, LA & OH, not to mention Texas & Florida, were all allowed to remain in place due to a SCOTUS ruling that judges should not order changes in election procedures too close to an actual election.

Maps in Four States Were Ruled Illegal Gerrymanders. They’re Being Used Anyway.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/08/us/elections/gerrymandering-maps-elections-republicans.html

For example, Ohio has 15 congressional seats.
As of 11/17/2022 2:23 PM ET
(D)'s rec'd 1,738,353 votes=43.34%
(R)'s rec'd 2,271,735 votes=56.64%

(D)'s won 5 seats
(R)'s won 10 seats

43.34%, (D)'s should have won 6.501 or 7 (rounded up > .5) seats
56.64%, (R)'s should have won 8.496 or 8 (rounded down < .5) seats

(R)'s got 2 extra seats.

I could probably do the same with Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas & Florida and come up with the additional (D) seats for each state. I'm willing to bet those extra seats could have pushed (D)'s above 218.

And then how many Democratic votes in all states total.

And how many republican votes total.

I would bet the Democratic Party had a large margin of total votes.

When the SCoTUS rules, that IS the law regardless of what other courts did. See Dobbs. That's why they are called the SUPREME court. Sure would have been nice if people would have taken SCoTUS nominations seriously BEFORE we ended up with this current one. Once the ship has sailed, it's a looooooong swim to catch it.

They gerrymandered the shit out of the stretch between Charleston and Columbia. If they could have gerrymandered Jim Clyburn out of a seat, they would have, given how corrupt is our Statehouse.

they have 8 Congressional districts and 3 of them didn't have a Democrat running!
So it blew up the numbers to prove that districts were illegally gerrymandered.
