who had spent 5 years here as the head of a public corruption unit, leave his job in Europe to come here and NOT indict Trump?

There are no rules except for the poor and powerless.
I wish it was different but we have to adapt and correct.

(383 posts)Start on Season 1, Episode 1. 80 years ago was not that different from today. The fascist bastards are at the gates. They are within our walls. Dont let them seize their opportunity.

(7,282 posts)specifically? i.e. Were they successful prosecutors, how many were there and were heads of state included in any of these cases?
sort of curious in this instance... maybe I'll spend a little time researching the background on these cases in a few days or after the holidays more like it.
or maybe some one else will, and post their findings /analysis etc.
interesting ...

But someone's being paid off!
But there is enough evidence...Indite Now!!!
But I Know he will Never be charged.
So many legal 'experts' on DU that I'm amazed that the justice department doesn't use the expertise of these 'experts' to throw tRump in jail RIGHT NOW!
The raid on tRumps 'fortress of ineptitude' happened just this year, not two years ago.
Rushing into impeaching tRump caused an actual backlash to Democrats IMHO. This cannot be rushed.
I'm going to wait and watch....because I'm not involved and I'm not an expert and neither are most, if not all DUers.
End of rant.

(2,475 posts)And the "legal experts" in the media are just as bad as those here, coming out of the woodwork to proclaim the special prosecutor is the best thing since sliced cheese, or the worst, depending on the "expert."
Only Garland and his team know what's going on, everything else is just one more opinion. And most are barely worth reading, but when one puts themselves in the right frame of mind, they are certainly entertaining.

Meanwhile, the big news, is people couldn't get tickets to Taylor Swift.
