FIFA President blasts Europeans

Last edited Sat Nov 19, 2022, 08:00 PM - Edit history (1)

The Fifa president, Gianni Infantino, has accused critics of Qatar’s human rights record of staggering hypocrisy and racism in a bizarre and incendiary attack on the eve of the 2022 World Cup finals.

“We have been told many, many lessons from some Europeans, from the western world,” he said. “I think for what we Europeans have been doing the last 3,000 years we should be apologising for the next 3,000 years before starting to give moral lessons to people.”

1. I am not aware of Infantino coming to the equally vigorous defense of any country that has not handsomely compensated FIFA, and

2. he is the head of the most corrupt sports organization in the history of sports, so he has no moral standing to issue judgements like this

the West in general resent any other region of the world hosting international sporting events.

Tough to figure out the most corrupt sport on the planet - they are all corrupt.
