Trump's Tax Returns Can Be Made Public

At least the returns the House committee has possession of. Do House Democrats have the guts to enter Trump's tax returns into the Congressional record?

Just do it one time. 4 years to get something that should have been turned over in 72 hours.

Let this tax return issue be a lesson to the wait and see crowd. Trump delayed turning over his taxes when the law specifically says, "he shall turn them over." There is not nearly enough time for the House committee to analyze Trump's taxes, the only recourse is to make them public so any zealous tax accountant can peruse them at his/her leisure.

when I heard this news on MSNBC I said. "Make them public!" then 2 of Nicole's guests said the same thing. I hope the powers that be decide to do this before 2023.

At this stage, Section 6103 requires treating with confidentiality details about any requested returns that can be associated with a particular taxpayer. That same law, however, also allows the committee to later publish the returns in the Congressional Record, which would make them public. Mr. Neal has not announced whether he would do so.
