Police killed more people in the U.S. in 2022 than any year on record.

https://mappingpoliceviolence.us/

Black people have been 24% of those killed by police in 2022 despite being only 13% of the population.

There were 12 days in 2022 when police did not kill anyone.

Most killings by police began with traffic stops, mental health checks, disturbances, non-violent offenses and where no crime was alleged.

it's a fucking MYTH.

Being a policeman is NOT a dangerous job by any stretch, but they just love to perpetuate the idea that they get up every morning and "put their lives on the line". It is complete horseshit, and no one should buy it for one second.

The police in this country are nothing more than an armed gang who consider themselves above the law and can and will completely ruin your life for nothing more than hurt feelings.

I’ve always said, if you are threatened by everyone you deal with to do your job, than get another job.

Most of those killed were harmless victims. Sandra Bland had her dream job life destroyed for nothing. Still breaks my heart.

If you call them where I live, even if you're being robbed or threatened with murder, they will likely not show up. I've seen cops sitting in their cars watching crimes taking place then doing absolutely nothing. Of course if I were to protest downtown they'd be out in full force with military gear, ready to shoot because peaceful protestors are seen by them as the biggest danger. When we let ideologues infiltrate all of our judicial and law enforcement institutions, those institutions will be rended useless and eventually will become extremely dangerous.

The public doesn't pay police to murder with impunity. Police should earn that money by behaving as if they have a duty to preserve life, liberty and not just property and commercial policy interests. Police = Policy enforcers

We need it everywhere.

The violent, racist, power-drunk mofo cops need to feel the weight of consequences hanging over them.
