You might enjoy reading the comments from the Karlie Kloss/Hope Hicks story on yahoo news

Kind of surprised there were few, or no, trump supporters in the comments.

And a good reminder from one of the commenters:

How does Hicks think that sleeping with several top aides in the administration made her look. How did she think that lying about Trumps Russia involvement make her look. She and Trump wrote the adoption narrative for Junior while on Air Force One according to Mueller's report. Then she pled the fifth. She never didn't look guilty.

Hicks had a role in covering up Trump's ties to Russia by helping craft a fake statement from Jr.

Here's the yahoo story:

After a mob stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a top aide to Ivanka Trump and presidential adviser Hope Hicks fumed about tweets posted by supermodel Karlie Kloss, the wife of Jared Kushner’s brother.

That’s according to text messages released by the House’s Jan. 6 committee—which also reveal the aide, Julie Radford, and Hicks were worried that the insurrection would destroy their reputations.

After the riot, Kloss took to Twitter to write: “Accepting the results of a legitimate democratic election is patriotic. Refusing to do so and inciting violence is anti-American.” She also responded to a Twitter user who encouraged her to “tell your sister-in-law and brother-[in]-law” by replying, “I’ve tried.”

...

The self-pity didn’t end there, with Hicks moaning that she and other Trump White House officials would be “unemployable” and “untouchable” after the violence aimed at overturning the election of Joe Biden

A few of the comments:

It still amazes me that the White house staffers and loyalists were only concerned about their own personal reputations, and what the insurrection would do to their future employment opportunities. All that concern, and apparently no concern about the destruction of our democracy and the lost lives, all caused by their ex boss.

HOW was she surprised? Was she not paying attention the prior >4 years? I don't know how many Americans (and I mean the true patriotic ones, not the ones who put party first who have coopted the term) were surprised at all by the events, I know a great many of us weren't.

Hope & Ivanka, there is a woman called Cassidy Hutchinson who held Country and the US Constitution over her personal or political goals...Interestingly, we are taught to teach our children honor & truth to make for a better family, country and world. however, to many Republicans it is FALSE!!!!

... and her employability at the dry cleaners may be impacted by her unorthodox technique of using it while he was wearing the pants. (Though I admit she may have had reason for preferring this over the alternative...)

We know she was in a relationship with a fellow staffer for about two years (which is scarcely unusual in politics), but that’s it. I think Hicks is worthy of criticism for a lot of things, but let’s not throw in the oh-so-predictable “…besides, she’s a slut” attacks that would never be directed against a male staffer in her position.
