My boss was honest with me today. He pulled up to work with his sweet new car this morning and I complimented him on it. He replied, "Well, if you work hard, set goals, stay determined and put in long hours, I can get an even better one next year."
So much truth.

(8,224 posts)of very well paid "wealth managers" who make entire careers doing nothing else than assuring that "trickle down" never happens. Their job is engineering "trickle up" and if you have enough money, you can actually hire one. However, don't confuse them with the managers of your 401k, they trickle sideways, from your pocket to theirs. I have managed an endowment for a non-profit that was large enough, it is very different than a 401k.
