On the fight for Speaker

Stupid is as stupid does.

These folks are truly amazing. I occasionally wonder if the Republican right wing can be as stupid as they seem to be.

Then they remind me that they are stupider than I think they are. They are trying to impress an audience composed of the stupidest, meanest, whitest people in the United States.

By pandering to this audience they are ensuring that the republican party goes the way of the Whigs.

When this is over the participants in this debacle will be wandering around in the ruins that they have made while wondering how it all happened. Because that’s how stupid they are.

They don’t seem to be able to apprehend that they are burning their own house down.
