Rubio and Bush are probably the 2 favorites, yet neither listed here.

if you add "zombie raygun" to it. I would vote for that.

Edited: Also add "generic old white rich businessman tax cheat" to the list.

They have to start kissing the ass of Latinos since they will soon be a majority. Hope they don't play the divide and conquer game with blacks and latinos. So it will probably be Rubio.

It would be stupid to elect another Bush, the father was a loser and the son is a moron. Why elect another Bush to the White House?

He is a real jerk, and complete Ass...just the kind of mean spirited person who would represent the current Republicans.

Martinez has executive experience, but I'm not sure she's conservative enough to appeal to the lunatic fringe.

Mexican-Americans, from what I have read, do not consider the Cubans to be "one of them." And it's Mexican-Americans who make up the vast majority of Latinos in the US.

It's the kind of thinking that caused McCain on choosing Mrs. Palin as his running mate. There were some in the GOP who thought with that by itself they could close the gender gap. Any campaign consultant of any ideological stripe should know better and I'm sure most GOP consultants do, except for the most extreme right wing ideologues.

Christie a possibility.

Their primaries will be another open-air lunatic asylum because there will be plenty who will triple down on reichwing batshittery.

If they had any sense they'd run Huntsman - he's a demonstrably sane adult. Which is a presumptive disqualifier for their inbred base of trolls and homunculi.

He left office with a 60% favorable rating and was rated on of the "best governors" in the country at the time.

Just my two cents

I expect them to, once again, decide that they lost this election because they weren't conservative enough, and their loud-profile candidates are going to act on that assumption.

Provided we survive two more years of an obstinate, nihilistic House in which the Tea Party will again have influence disproportionate to their actual numbers in the general population. Then we may not make it to the next election.
