Black Lives Matter co-founder's cousin Keenan Anderson dies after LAPD officers use Taser on him

Los Angeles police repeatedly used a stun gun on a man hours before he died at hospital, police said Wednesday.

Keenan Anderson, 31, a teacher and relative of Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, went into cardiac arrest four hours after a struggle with officers on Jan. 3, Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said in a news conference.

Anderson tried to run away after a car crash, and officers used force to restrain him, Moore said. He said officers were investigating whether Anderson was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Video of the incident – and two fatal police shootings – was released Wednesday by police.

Years and millions of dollars and scores of "reforms" later, cops are still being cops.

He was a teacher at the Digital Pioneers Academy in Washington DC. His students are devastated. I would imagine that, if he had been in a car accident, he may have displayed "erratic" behavior because of a concussion.

'Police Torture Man To Death' is the honest description of this incident. It catches all the important points of it.

Why someone is tortured to death hardly matters, unless some supremely heinous thing is involved, like having tortured someone to death.

Defending police in such matters is defending police torturing people to death. Stand up to the headline, if that's your intent. Say it bold, say it loud and proud: Police tortured a guy to death, and that's fine by me! It can be done, but not many people can pull it off with any composure.

"I will not hurt you. I am here to help you".

Why can't they ever seem to even ATTEMPT calmness and de-escalation?
