Marjorie Taylor Greene called 'idiot' for suggesting plane not involved in 9/11 Pentagon strike

https://www.rawstory.com/denver-riggleman-slams-idiot-marjorie-taylor-greene-for-suggesting-9-11-pentagon-strike-wasn-t-a-plane/

Former Congressman Denver Riggleman (R-VA) took to Twitter on Wednesday to slam Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for an interview in which she suggests that the strike on the Pentagon during the September 11 attacks did not involve an airplane.

The interview, given to American Priority before Taylor Greene took her seat in Congress in 2021, was recirculated after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) assigned her to the House Homeland Security Committee this week.

"We had witnessed 9/11, right?" said Greene in the interview. "We had witnessed 9/11. The terrorist attack in New York, and the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, and the so-called plane that crashed into the Pentagon. It's odd there's never any evidence shown for a plane in the Pentagon."

"One of my closest friends was in the Pentagon when the plane hit. I deployed ten days after 9/11," wrote Riggleman, a Trump-skeptic Republican who served in Congress from 2019 to 2021 and worked as an adviser to the House January 6 Committee. "Any idiot who says the 'so-called plane that crashed into the Pentagon' and says there is no evidence for said plane is a mentally deranged fool."

You sound like a Qanon site. "The hole's too small, no photos, no debris, that piece of the plane was planted there....." The plane was flying at 600 mph at least. Only so many frames per second to capture the crash. The hole's too small? What idiot told you that? By the way, an exploding missile would have made a MUCH bigger hole.

I check into from time to time want a plane shaped hole in the Pentagon, complete with fuselage sized hole and then narrower holes on both sides for the wings, like the plane hit full head on. --0-- If it weren't such a tragedy it would be funny.

From what I've read, the Pentagon is so solidly constructed that the light (in comparison) metal plane was essentially obliterated on impact, which is what fuels conspiracy theorists to say there "was no plane". It'd be like firing a 22 caliber bullet at a cinderblock and attempting to find all the bits and pieces of the shrapnel. The first layer absorbed every bit of inertia and the damage was surprisingly contained for what it was. That place is *designed* to resist exactly that kind of impact.

Also on the low-framerate security video it passes so fast that it's hard to see. It partially knocked down a section of the outer layer - wall and corridors - but didn't get through the second. There was a piece of the blue and red painted fuselage on the lawn in a famous picture.

No wonder MTG would deny their death, their very existence. She is a vile racist anti Semite.
The GOP people that live in her district must be professional dirtbags.
I won’t forget the loss of these three children. Truth LIVES.

Bernard was described by his mum as a little boy who ‘lived to go to school’.

It was the 11-year-old’s love of learning that saw him heading out of his hometown of Washington D.C. on an adventure to the Channel Islands Marine Sanctuary off the coast of California, with a group of teachers and two other students.

Bernard was renowned for his spelling, drawing, and ‘zest’ for living.

Out golfing for the day, Bernard’s father, a Navy chief petty officer who worked in the Pentagon, had talked to his son about the fear he had about flying in preparation for his flight to California.

‘To be honest, we talked about death,’ Bernard Sr. told NBC. ‘I just told him, “Don’t be afraid. Just listen to what the people tell you, and the instructions. You’ll be all right; you’ll be fine.” He said, “Daddy, I’m scared,” and I said, “Hey, don’t be scared; don’t be afraid to die. Because we are all going to die someday.”’

Little did he know it would be one of the last conversations he would have with his beloved son, who was on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon at 9:37 am.

Asia was on the same plane as Bernard Brown. It was a dream trip for the smiley, eager-to-learn sixth grader. The 11-year-old had just started at a new school, Bertie Backus Middle School, in Northeast Washington.

Her father, Clifton Cottom, helped to coach basketball, patrolled the halls, and worked as a book clerk in the school same school.

Clifton told a news outlet his daughter was a ‘charmer who was trying hard to grow up,’ and that she dreamt of becoming a pediatrician. She loved jumping rope and her mother, Michelle Cottom, remembered her daughter loving ‘Tweety gear.’

Staff at the school described Asia as a kind-hearted kid, who helped other students with learning difficulties. Neighbours remembered how Asia greeted them when she was playing outside her house with her younger brother.

The day after the hijacking, one of Asia’s teachers attempted to talk to the class about what had happened: ‘We are missing someone today. Do you know who that is?’ she asked. Some of the children replied. ‘Yes,’ they said. ‘Asia.’

The last of the three children chosen to participate in the trip to study ecology in California beside National Geographic Society researchers, Rodney accompanied Bernard and Asia on the trip of a lifetime. It was the first time he had ever been on a plane.

One of Rodney’s classmates at Ketcham Elementary School remembered him as a kind kid ‘who loved Pokémon’ and ‘helped other people with their homework if they didn’t understand it.’

Even though Rodney, who was 11, grew up in a dangerous Washington neighbourhood alongside his two brothers and two sisters, he always made the honour roll at school.

His mother, LaShawn, was a single parent who was raising her children with the help of her extended family, and she encouraged her beloved son to always try and be a role model to his siblings.

Rodney loved reading, playing on the computer, and spending time with his brothers and sisters, but his aunt, Cynthia Dickens, said his favourite thing to do was watch professional wrestling on TV.

everything BushCheneyCo said about 9/11 without question, and with many aspects that just don't add up.

They lied about EVERYTHING else for eight years. Every lie we knew at the time, and every lie that has since proven we were right and they were liars.

But their official story was swallowed hook line and sinker without a peep. Apparently that's the one thing those lying liars didn't lie about. . .

Which is a separate issue from how much Traitor Green sucks, and how she's nothing more than an ignorant skidmark on the nation's underpants.
